CHAPTER 264.

DECLARATION OF TIME.

AN ACT TO REMOVE DOUBTS AS TO THE MEANING OF 26 of 1926.

EXPRESSIONS OF TIME IN THE LAWS OF THE COLONY AND IN OTHER LEGAL DOCUMENTS AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE DECLARATION OF STANDARD TIME WITHIN THE COLONY.

[6th May 1926.] [Conimencement 1st April 1926.] 1. This Act may be cited as The Declaration of Short title.

Time Act.

  1. 'Standard time' means the time declared by Interpretation.

    this Act to be the standard time for the Colony.

  2. The standard time for the Colony shall be the Standard time on the seventy-fifth meridian west of Greenwich, namely, five hours slow of Greenwich mean time.

  3. Wherever any expression of time occurs in any Meaning of expressions Act, Order, rule, deed, time table, notice, advertisement relating to or other document whatsoever the time referred to time.

    shall, unless it is otherwise specifically stated, be held to be standard time.

  4. The Governor may indicate to the general General indication of public in such manner as he may consider fit the standard standard time. time.
