3 This is the position of the court:

4 In this matter, the appellant was convicted of possession of firearm, possession of ammunition and also convicted of stealing.

5 On the conviction of the possession of a firearm, he was sentenced to three (3) years in prison. On the ammunition, he was sentenced to two (2) years or twenty-four (24) months. He was also fined $1000.00, or failing that, to serve one year, and he was also ordered to pay compensation of $900. 00 or 24 months.

6 The appellant has decided in this case to withdraw his appeal and, as a result, the appeal will have to be dismissed.
