1 This is the decision of the court.

2 In appeal number 14 of 2006, that is, of Liston Perpall, the appeal is dismissed and the conviction and sentence are affirmed.

3 In appeal number 15 of 2006, that is, of Carmelina Perpall, the appeal against conviction is dismissed, and the appeal against sentence is allowed.

4 The sentence is varied to one of a fine of $50,000.00 only or, in default, one year's imprisonment. She has six months to pay the fine.

5 Our reasons will be put into writing, and you will be notified in due course when they will be handed down.
