THE BAHAMA ISLANDS (CONSTITUTION) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 1964.

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the twenty-second day of December 1964

Present, The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council Her Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in Her in that behalf by section 1 of the Bahama Islands (Constitution) Act 1963(a) is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows: 1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Bahama Islands (Constitution) (Amendment) Order 1964 and shall be construed as one with the Bahama Islands (Constitution) Order in Council 1963(b) (hereinafter referred to as the 'principal Order').

(2) The principal Order and this Order may be cited together as the Bahama Islands (Constitution) Orders 1963 and 1964.

(3) This Order shall come into operation on the twenty-third day of December 1964 and shall be published in the Gazette.
