CHAPTER 257.

UNITED STATES CONSUL (CONSULAR VEHICLE EXEMPTIONS).

AN ACT TO EXEMPT UNITED STATES CONSULAR OFFICERS FROM THE PAYMENT OF FEES FOR LICENSING AND REGISTERING PASSENGER MOTOR CARS AND FOR LICENCES TO DRIVE SUCH MOTOR CARS.

[28th June 1945.]1 [Commefcement 1st January 1944.] 1. This Act may be cited as The United States Consul (Consular Vehicle Exemptions) Act.

  1. In this Act'consular vehicle' means a passenger vehicle within the meaning of The Road Traffic Act used solely for the personal use of the United States Consul;

    'United States Consul' means the Consul of the United States of America and includes a ViceConsul of the United States of America and any other person, being a citizen of the United States of America for the time being performing the duties of such Consul in the Colony.
